Global Bio-India 2019 Road Show

On 24th October 2019, the Global Bio-India 2019 Road show was hosted at NIPER
Guwahati. The event was attended by the faculty, scientific officers, research associates and
PhD scholars from NIPER Guwahati, traditional healers from different parts of North Eastern
India, personnel from pharma companies, Assam Startup, and a few aspirant start-ups.

Speakers:
 Mr Amit Kumar, Legal Officer, BIRAC Introduced the program of Global Bio-India 2019
and explain about the role of BIRAC in the field of entrepreneurship development

 Professor (Dr) Bhabesh Das, Principal Govt. of Ayurvedic College and Hospital,
Guwahati discussed on the “Strategic pathways required to be followed for developing
commercially viable herbal products”.
 Dr Ramjee Pllela, Chief Operating Officer, Atal Incubation Center, CCMB, Hyderabad
delivered his talk on “Innovation Strategies: Funding for Ideation to Commercialization
Stages”
