did not show any pathological modification, DSS induced colon tissue injury was associated
with partial destruction of the epithelial architecture such as loss of crypts and epithelial
integrity, submucosal edema and intense infiltration of inflammatory cells. Treatment with
different dosages attenuated the injury of colon tissue in dose dependent manner.
